One last dance, come take my hand.
Put your head on my shoulder,
Let me smell the moonlight in your hair.

One last time, come lets dance in the sand.
Brush away those tears, smile like you once did.
Forget about your broken heart, I値l forget about mine.

One last dance, before the music fades,
Feel the warmth of my breath on your neck,
Let me feel your arms around me.

One last dance and as the saxophone plays
Let me hold you tight. Close like before.
Before we got lost and I let go.

One last dance and as the music fades,
I値l call out your name, and carry it to my grave.
One last tear, shed only to myself.

he left me at my windowsill with the
winter-time sniffles
and a half-empty box of scratchy store-brand clouds.
he left the new york skyline
and the coral coloured trees
that littered the skirts of all of his
ex-girlfriends.

This is so beautiful, sweet, and sad. I especially liked "Forget about your broken heart, I値l forget about mine."

I respect the world you live in but I don't believe in it.
It is usually very difficult to make me like non-rhyming poetry... but I must say, I truly like this.
This is so very good... ^^
